The Goddard School of Renton is soon to be open in late Fall. We are hiring substitute teacher and floaters for the shifts of 8AM – 12PM, 11AM – 3PM, and 2PM – 6PM.

We are seeking energetic and compassionate Substitute and Floater teachers to work in Infant, Toddler, Preschool, or PreK classes. Each classroom is staffed with a lead teacher and assistant teacher who work together along with the rest of our faculty to create a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for our families. Our school is led by a Director and an On-site Owner. As administrators we will strive to create a safe, positive, and supportive work environment for our faculty every day. In order to educate their class and ensure success, teachers should maintain a positive attitude, be energetic about the subjects they teach, and share a passion for learning themselves.

As a Floater, you will be required to help the Lead teachers and Asst teacher as and when needed. You are considered the MVPs of the school as your tasks, give break to teachers and give them time to prepare for the lessons. You will be responsible to give breaks to teachers, fill in for them, get snacks ready for all classes, help empty trash in classroom and help admin staff with office tasks.

An active Merit account - Washington's Professional Development & Workforce Registry

A Portable Background Check (through Merit)

The following required prerequisite: Negative Tb Test, CPR/First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens Training, WA State Food Handlers, and proof of MMR immunization.

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
