The Goddard School of Newtown Square is seeking qualified and experienced Lead PreKindergarten Teachers. The Goddard School is a premium preschool / childcare program that values teachers with the highest levels of professionalism and dedication to the field of early childhood education and those who instill a life-long love of learning among children.

Responsibilities:

Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
Using creativity and the Developmental Guidelines as the basis for developing unique lesson plans
Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
Establishing positive and effective family relations
Working together with an Assistant Teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or Child Development
Bachelor’s Degree in related field with a minimum of 18 hours in education
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
