Compensation: $14.00-$15.00 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Maintain state and Goddard ratios throughout the day (with support of Directors)
- Assist in providing children with morning/afternoon snack
- Provide teachers lunch breaks and 10-minute breaks as needed
- Assist in daily sanitizing to provide a clean school
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans for your students
- Engage with students on a personal level to create a fun learning experience
- Assist in inputting and updating daily notes for each student on Tadpoles App
- Adhere to The Goddard School’s Quality Assurance requirements by maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment
- Assist in communicating on a professional level with co-workers and families/parents
Requirements:
- Must be available from 9am-6pm (typically a 4-6 hours shift within that time frame)
- Available to work 20-30 hours per week (opportunity for up to 40 hours/week)
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Must be a team player
- Highly organized and punctual
- Nurturing and loving
- Reliable and has a commitment to professionalism
- Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
