TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ‬‪Developing innovative and engaging lesson plans that meet Goddard standards
  • ‪Effectively and professionally communicating to parents and fellow staff members
  • Using computer & tablet-based classroom and lesson planning / assessment apps
  • Following Goddard Schools QA Health & Safety Standards
  • ‪Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning; ‪Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem, intellectual stimulation, and social skills
  • ‪Committing to continuing education and staying current on the latest early childhood practices



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Lead Infant Teachers

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field OR current CDA or enrollment in a credentialing program

  • Minimum of 1-year prior classroom experience
  • Minimum 6-12 ECE units including 3 units in infant care
  • Passion for teaching children
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
  • ‪Strong communication skills; Ability to use Reporting Apps & Tablets
  • Current CPR and First Aid Training
  • Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Monday to Friday
License/Certification:

  • Teaching Permit OR At Least 6 units of ECE coursework (Preferred)
  • Infant / Toddler ECE class you have completed (Preferred)
Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
