- Operational Management: Assist the Center Director in managing day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, and program implementation.
- Team Leadership: Support and mentor teaching staff, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
- Curriculum Oversight: Ensure that curriculum and educational programs are effectively implemented and aligned with developmental standards.
- Family Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families, address concerns, and provide updates on their children’s progress.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the center adheres to all licensing requirements and Step Up to Quality requirements.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with record-keeping and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Education: CDA, Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a childcare setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and community partners.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with early childhood education best practices, child development theories, and regulatory requirements.
