Educational Support Specialist Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Administration:
- Assist the Director and Assistant Director in cultivating the school culture
- Assist in daily operations of the school
- Assist in regulatory and brand standards
- Develop and implement school policies and procedures.
Staff Management:
- Assist in training and supervising staff members
- Assist in performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development
- Mentor and support all faculty members
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed including teacher, substitute
Curriculum and Program Development:
- Implement a high-quality educational program
- Ensure that the educational programs meet the needs of all children
- Support teachers in creating engaging and effective lesson plans
Family and Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
- Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
- Address parent concerns and provide regular communication regarding their child’s progress
- Promote the schools within the community and participate in outreach activities
Health and Safety:
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors
- Conduct regular safety drills and maintain emergency preparedness
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility

Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Works productively without supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
