Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our team. The Lead Infant Teacher will be responsible for providing nurturing care and developmentally appropriate early childhood education to infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months. This individual will play a crucial role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where infants can thrive and develop essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities tailored to the needs and interests of infants.
Foster a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes infants' social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Establish positive relationships with infants, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
Observe and document each child's growth, development, and milestones, and communicate progress to parents regularly.
Ensure the well-being and individual needs of each infant are met, including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules.
Implement behavior management techniques that promote positive behavior and social skills development.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. May be in the process of acquiring!
Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of infant development and early childhood education principles.
Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with infants, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with infants and young children.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Ability to meet state licensing requirements for childcare staff.

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
