- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans using The Goddard School’s Wonder of Learning curriculum.
- Create a warm, engaging, and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social-emotional development.
- Assess children’s individual needs and progress, providing tailored support and communication with families.
- Foster strong relationships with students, families, and fellow staff members to create a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
- Ensure classroom activities align with both The Goddard School’s educational philosophy and state licensing requirements.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with infant-preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare setting.
- CDA or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- A passion for early childhood education and a dedication to nurturing each child’s development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with parents, colleagues, and children.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
