Position Type: Full-time
- Operations: Assist the Center Director in managing day-to-day operations, including staffing, safety, and compliance with licensing regulations.
- Staff Supervision: Provide leadership, training, and coaching for teaching staff. Conduct staff evaluations and assist in recruitment and retention.
- Curriculum & Program Support: Help implement and support the delivery of the Goddard School curriculum, ensuring age-appropriate learning and development activities.
- Parent Relations: Foster positive relationships with parents, addressing concerns and organizing events like parent conferences and open houses.
- Administrative Support: Assist with financial tasks, including budgeting, payroll, and maintaining accurate records. Support the Director with marketing and enrollment efforts.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (required).
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Director Qualifications: Must meet state-specific Director requirements (e.g., Illinois) including background checks and certifications.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and foster a positive, collaborative environment.
