About the Role:
The Goddard School of Greenville (Pelham Road), SC is seeking a Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a leader in early childhood education, The Goddard School offers a warm, loving, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the health and safety of our students through nutritious meals and snacks.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Order and manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the school director and teachers to accommodate special dietary needs
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment
- Knowledge of nutrition and food safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one
