- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with MSDE standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports social-emotional and academic growth.
- Assess and document student progress, adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with families to support student learning and development through regular communication and conferences.
- Maintain compliance with all MSDE licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, support staff, and administrators to enhance the learning experience.
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- MSDE Early Childhood Education Certification (Required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Strong understanding of early childhood developmental milestones and instructional strategies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Experience working in a diverse, inclusive classroom setting.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
