Summer Camp Counselor – School-Aged Program
Location: The Goddard School – Aurora, Ohio
Position: Seasonal (Summer 2025)
Are you passionate about working with kids and creating an unforgettable summer experience? The Goddard School of Aurora is seeking an enthusiastic Summer Camp Counselor to lead engaging activities for our school-aged program at our brand-new preschool!
What You'll Do:
Plan and Lead engaging activities – arts & crafts, sports, outdoor play, and more
Encourage creativity and teamwork in a fun, structured environment
Foster friendships and confidence while being a positive role model
Ensure a Safe and Positive environment for our campers
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with school-aged children (camps, after-school programs, etc.)
Energetic & enthusiastic personality with a passion for kids
Dependable & responsible – safety is our top priority!
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Works productively without supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
