The Goddard School of Morgantown is currently searching for a warm and nurturing Lead Infant Teacher who has the creativity and desire to engage children positively and effectively, through unique activities, that provide children with a fun, hands on learning experience. You will provide our babies with a loving and caring environment to ensure they are comfortable in their home away from home.
Teachers must have a great love and patience for children, qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices and preschool educational methods, as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.
Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive learning environment in their classroom and establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
- Working in a needs based classroom to provide the highest level of love and care.
-Writing and implementing your own lesson plans based on State & Goddard Developmental Guidelines and our F.L.EX. Learning Curriculum
-Ensuring compliance with Goddard's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards.

Qualifications:
- Must have a High school Diploma
- 2500 hours of documented childcare experience
- ECE or related degree preferred.
