The Goddard School® located in Eagan, MN is looking for a motivated, self-starter for an Administrative Assistant position at our School. The Administrative Assistant will assist in supporting the daily operations of the school, ensuring the highest standards of education and care. This role involves supporting the Owner & Director(s) in administrative duties, maintaining compliance with licensing requirements and fostering positive relationships with parents and the community.

Administrative Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Answer the phone and speak professionally to families and prospective families
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting; support staff in paperwork completion
- Ensure files maintain compliance with state childcare licensing regulations and The Goddard School’s standards.
- Manages inventory & completes school orders
- Opens and closes the school efficiently and effectively and to The Goddard School and Because of the Kids’ standards
- Engages with staff and families; builds strong rapport & relationships;
2. Family and Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
- Attends and promotes School & Community Events and is flexible to support the school as needed
3. Health and Safety:
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors
- Assist in conducting regular safety drills and maintain emergency preparedness
- Assist in implementing maintenance, cleanliness and care of the facility and school equipment

Qualifications:
- Associates of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and able to multitask, resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
- Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Have a genuine love for children
