- Prepare, cook, and portion food according to established menus and safety standards.
- Serve meals to students and staff in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, serving areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow proper state food handling, storage, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in food service or kitchen work is a plus, but not always required.
- Food safety certification may be required or can be obtained later on.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with state licensing requirements.
