We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at a busy and welcoming childcare center. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing daily snacks that include at least two food groups per serving
- Washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces and equipment
- Organizing and putting away food deliveries and inventory
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Qualifications:
- Current ServSafe Certification (required)
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification (employer will provide training)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting
