The Resource Teacher plays a vital support role in our school. This position is responsible for assisting across multiple classrooms as needed—helping with breaks, transitions, curriculum activities, and classroom coverage. This is a great role for someone who is versatile, proactive, and passionate about working with young children of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms as needed
- Maintain continuity of care and classroom routines
- Assist with classroom activities, supervision, and transitions
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment in each room
- Collaborate with lead teachers and administrators to meet classroom needs
- Step into classrooms for breaks, planning periods, or staffing needs
- Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or coursework in ECE preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting
- Flexible, dependable, and enthusiastic team player
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting young learners
