Schedule: Full-time (schedule to be discussed during the interview)
Location: The Goddard School – South Windsor, CT
- Work closely with educators to ensure that curriculum is being implemented consistently and effectively across classrooms.
- Adjust curriculum plans as needed to meet the developmental needs of each classroom.
- Ensure that developmental assessments and classroom observations are being completed by teaching staff on a regular basis.
- Conduct teacher observations to support professional growth and classroom quality.
- Create monthly calendars that include spirit days, holiday celebrations, and special events (using existing resources as needed).
- Plan and coordinate an engaging, age-appropriate summer camp program (existing materials available for use).
- Book fun and educational in-house field trips to enrich the learning experience.
- Organize family engagement activities and fundraising events throughout the year.
- Order curriculum materials and manage inventory.
- Maintain and oversee the school library to support early literacy and classroom learning.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in early childhood settings, particularly in a curriculum support or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate educational practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for delivering high-quality early education.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
