- Lead a full-day Kindergarten classroom, guiding students through their most important foundational year
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Wonder of Learning philosophy
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, kindness, and curiosity
- Support academic growth through hands-on learning and individual attention
- Foster strong family partnerships through regular communication and collaboration
- Assess student development through formal and informal evaluations
- Manage classroom routines and behavior using positive reinforcement strategies
- Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in ongoing professional development
- An active teaching certification (Required)
- Proven experience working with children in a Kindergarten or early elementary setting
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning milestones
- Familiarity with or enthusiasm for the Wonder of Learning/Reggio Emilia-inspired approach
- Ability to bring creativity, patience, and structure to the classroom
- Comfort with integrating technology into lesson planning and instruction
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
