As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside the Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom where children thrive.
📚Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with implementing fun, age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through positive interactions
- Help prepare classroom materials and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment
- Supervise children while encouraging independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging
- Communicate with families about their child's daily activities and progress
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations to ensure a secure classroom
- Assist with daily routines and provide nurturing care throughout the day

- Has a genuine love for working with young children
- Brings positivity, patience, and enthusiasm to the classroom
- Enjoys collaborating with others and contributing to a supportive team
- Is dependable, organized, and able to work independently
- Has a basic understanding of child development
- Can lift up to 50 pounds as needed when caring for children
- Meets all state background check and licensing requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
