Director Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Administration
  • Lead daily operations of the school
  • Maintain regulatory and brand standards
  • Develop and implement school policies and procedures.
Staff Management
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members
  • Conduct one-on-one performance evaluations on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and provide feedback and coaching to staff
  • Manage and ensure the proper training of all staff members
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Curriculum and Program Development
  • Deliver our proprietary curriculum, designed to spark curiosity, support individual growth and inspire a lifelong love of learning
  • Ensure that the educational programs meet the needs of all children
  • Support teachers in creating engaging and effective lesson plans
Family/Community Engagement & Customer Service
  • Schedule and conduct in-person tours and effectively manage tour process from start to finish
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families
  • Anticipate and address parent concerns on a timely basis, and provide regular communication regarding their child’s progress
  • Plan and execute school events
  • Promote the schools within the community and participate in outreach activities
Financial Management
  • Develop and manage the School's budget
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources
  • Oversee enrollment and maintain accurate financial records
Health and Safety
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors
  • Conduct regular safety drills and maintain emergency preparedness
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility

Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in a director-level position at a large center
• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
• Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education best practices
• Strong knowledge of California state licensing regulations
• An inspirational leader and team builder
• Proficiency with technology platforms, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Canva for scheduling, planning, and family/staff      communication
• Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
• Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Have a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
