About the Role:
Join The Goddard School of Woodbury as a Bus Driver, where you play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our School-Age students to/from their elementary schools and field trips. We are seeking a friendly and responsible individual to help create a positive experience for our students and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children to and from their elementary school.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus environment.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist children in boarding and exiting the bus safely.
- Monitor student behavior to ensure a safe and respectful environment during transit.
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to management.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with no driving violations within the last 3 years.
- Experience driving a bus or similar vehicle preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Must pass a background check and medical examination.
- First Aid and CPR certification (we will provide if necessary).
- Flexible schedule to accommodate route hours.
- Passion for working with children and contributing to their safety and well-being.

- the ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
