We’re Hiring: Resource / Floater Teacher
The Goddard School of Scottsdale is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Resource (Floater) Teacher to support our classrooms serving children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. This role is ideal for an adaptable team player who enjoys variety, values collaboration, and takes pride in contributing to a well-run, nurturing school environment.
Schedule: 12:00PM to 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms as needed
- Assist lead and assistant teachers to ensure smooth daily operations
- Prepare and serve snacks; heat and distribute lunches
- Provide classroom coverage and staff breaks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in early childhood education preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Completion of state-required pre-service training or willingness to complete
- Calm, professional, and positive demeanor in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working with all age groups, from infants through preschool
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; infant and toddler rooms require lifting children in and out of cribs
- Ability to successfully complete background check requirements
