Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster creativity and learning.
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and social interaction.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback and support to ensure developmental milestones are met.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring safety and fun.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in an educational setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
- Background check and clearances required for employment.
