At The Goddard School of Hazlet, we believe early learning should be engaging, supportive, and full of joy. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced early childhood teacher to join our team.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children, preferably in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- A CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (completed or in progress)
- A genuine passion for early childhood development and creating meaningful learning experiences
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both families and team members
- A commitment to professional growth and continuous learning
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and carry out age-appropriate lessons that align with our established curriculum
- Maintain a classroom environment that is safe, organized, and supportive
- Foster positive relationships with children and families, providing regular updates on development and progress
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators to ensure a high-quality learning experience

Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Preschool Lead Teacher (required)
- Ability to commute to Hazlet, NJ 07730
- Position is on-site
