We are looking for teachers to assist with our elementary aged (ages 6-10) summer camp program. This is a temporary position, from June 1st through August 14th, with a daily schedule of 9a-5p. If you have experience working with children, we’d love to talk to you about this unique opportunity. Responsibilities of a Summer Camp Teacher include the following:
- Travel on field trips, maintaining a safe and fun learning experience while following all state of Ohio licensing rules
- Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
- Establishing positive and effective family relations
- Working with the lead teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Shows empathy and compassion for young children
- Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal
