Education Manager (Early Childhood)

The Goddard School® of Alexandria – Old Town is seeking an experienced Education Manager to provide instructional leadership and staff accountability across all classrooms.
This role is responsible for implementing Goddard’s Wonder of Learning® curriculum, managing and coaching teachers, ensuring compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, and delivering consistently high-quality educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead curriculum implementation and classroom quality
- Observe, coach, evaluate, and hold teachers accountable
- Oversee lesson planning, assessments, and student portfolios
- Ensure 100% compliance with licensing, health & safety, and Goddard QA standards
- Lead professional development and staff training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- 3+ years teaching experience; leadership experience preferred
- Strong instructional coaching and people-management skills
