The Goddard School® of Shadow Creek Ranch (Pearland), TX, is currently seeking a qualified Handyman to help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for our students and staff.

Our Handyman plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and smooth daily operations of our school by maintaining our facility and transporting our children safely to and from school.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Handyman Duties:
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs throughout the facility (painting, plumbing, lighting, minor carpentry, etc.).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment inside and outside the school building.
• Assist with general upkeep, including playground maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure the facility remains in top condition.
• Coordinate with management for larger repairs and vendor services when needed. 

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for candidates who are as passionate about providing a safe and caring environment for children as we are!

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) –  Strongly Preferred
• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in facility maintenance, repairs, or general handyman work
• Clean driving record and ability to meet all state and company transportation requirements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Flexibility with work schedule and willingness to assist in various areas of the school
• Must be at least 18 years of age
