About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at The Goddard School of Simpsonville as a Jr. Preschool Teacher for our 2-3 year old classroom! This exciting opportunity allows you to nurture young minds and foster a love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
- Engage with children throughout the day making strong, positive connections
- Facilitate the Goddard School proprietary curriculum Wonder of Learning
- Observe and assess children's developmental milestones and needs.
- Assist children with potty training, basic care needs
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the educational experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Requirements:
- Must have a passion for working with young children and their families.
- Previous experience in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Creative, energetic, and patient demeanor.
- Background check clearance required.
