About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure a holistic approach to each child's education.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers, promoting professional development and teamwork.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that reflects the values of The Goddard School.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Implement health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all students.
Requirements:
- State certification or license in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
- Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love for learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum standards.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
