About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at The Goddard School of Simpsonville as a 2 Year Old Teacher, where you will inspire and nurture young minds in a warm and engaging environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster creativity and exploration.
- Create a nurturing and safe classroom environment that encourages social and emotional development.
- Engage children in activities that promote cognitive and physical growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience.
- Observe and assess children's development and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum education high school diploma, some college education preferred
- Prior experience working with toddlers in a classroom setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must be patient, nurturing, and passionate about teaching young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Background check required to ensure child safety.
