The ideal candidate will bring both experience and heart to the classroom—fostering curiosity, supporting social-emotional growth, and guiding children through meaningful learning experiences each day.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required)
- Previous experience in a preschool or pre-kindergarten setting
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Current Pennsylvania clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprinting)
- All state-required health and training documentation
- Ability to meet all licensing and regulatory requirements for early childhood educators
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain open and professional communication with families
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership team
