The Goddard School in Chicago (South Loop), IL, is looking for a motivated self-starter for Lead Two's and Toddler Preschool Teachers positions. In this dynamic role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a safe and engaging environment, and support the developmental needs of Two's and/or Toddlers. Your expertise will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, ensuring each child feels valued, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. - Review and Lead lesson planning, accountable for timely implementation and communication to families
- Ability to work on achieving accreditations
- Ability to understand special needs requirements
- Timely Reporting, Documentation and Follow up of child observations and incidents
- Contributing to peer Professional Development
- Classroom Materials Management
- Prior experience working with Two's and Toddlers in daycare or preschool settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavior management effectively.
- Experience with caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and nurturing young children.
- Familiarity with early childhood education curricula and activities designed for preschool-aged children.
