Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Lead Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you’ll lead a preschool classroom, creating a nurturing, engaging environment that supports curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. You’ll play a key role in shaping young learners while collaborating with families and fellow educators to ensure every child thrives.
Duties
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth for toddlers.
- Lead daily classroom routines, including circle time, play-based learning, snack time, and nap schedules.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that encourages children’s independence and self-expression. Observe and assess each child's progress, documenting milestones and communicating with families regularly. Manage classroom behavior through positive guidance strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or caregiver staff to ensure high-quality care and educational standards are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety policies, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols.
- Collaborate with families to support each child's individual needs, including those with special education requirements or disabilities.
- Maintain organized classroom environments that promote exploration while adhering to health guidelines for daycare settings. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings, particularly with children ages 3-5.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly valued.
- Excellent classroom management skills combined with the ability to nurture positive behavior management strategies.
- Experience in childcare, nannying, babysitting or working with children with diverse needs is preferred.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a lively, energetic approach to teaching young children.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners.

Qualifications
- Experience working with children ages 3–5 in a preschool or daycare setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices
- CPR and First Aid certification (required)
- Excellent classroom management and leadership skills
- Experience with diverse learners or special needs (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Background in childcare, nannying, or babysitting (a plus)
