Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to guide a classroom of children ages 1–2 years. The ideal candidate will create a warm, stimulating environment that supports social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Supervise and ensure the well-being of all children at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Conduct observations and track developmental progress
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and licensing standards
- Mentor and support assistant teachers as needed
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field preferred)
- Minimum [1–3] years of experience working with toddlers
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills

- Experience with play-based or emergent curriculum
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
