About the Role:
Join The Goddard School of Urbana, MD, as a Full-Time Floater- Goddard Bus Driver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our young learners. This exciting position offers the opportunity to engage with children while providing essential transportation services, all within a nurturing and educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children to and from school and various activities.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during transportation.
- Assist in supervising children during loading and unloading.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding transportation schedules.
- Support classroom activities as a floater when not driving.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and supervise groups of children effectively.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to child safety.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and duties.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
