We are seeking a creative and dedicated Infant Room Lead Teacher to foster the growth and development of infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months. As the lead teacher, you will implement a curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, motor skills, and social interaction, all while ensuring a safe and comforting space for our babies.

- Salary Range: $17-19/hour
- Design and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to infants’ developmental milestones.
- Establish strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Monitor and assess each child’s growth and progress, providing regular feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive teaching team.
- Bachelor or Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training[LJ1]
- Has knowledge of childcare programming, safety and emergency first-aid procedures, program management and customer service principles
- Skilled at developing relationships and communicating effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Is dependable, adaptable and enjoys working in teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding ability to listen and follow-up on issues constructively
- Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. Infant and Young Toddler Teachers must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
