The Goddard School® located at 1215 Ridge Road Raleigh, NC 27607 is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Kitchen Resource Teacher to join our team!

In this unique Resource Teacher role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting classrooms throughout the day. You’ll be our go-to sanitation expert and kitchen support specialist, helping ensure children receive meals and snacks in a safe, organized, and timely manner.
This position also includes supporting classrooms by covering breaks and assisting teachers, making you an essential part of our collaborative and caring school community.

Kitchen Resource Teacher Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen in compliance with health and licensing regulations
- Follow proper sanitation procedures for food preparation, storage, and dishwashing
- Prepare and portion daily snacks for classrooms
- Safely heat and distribute lunches to classrooms
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Monitor and manage kitchen inventory and supplies
- Support classrooms by covering teacher breaks as needed
- Assist with classroom activities and supervision when providing coverage
- Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment throughout the school
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Experience in food service, childcare, or a similar environment preferred
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper sanitation and food safety procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Positive attitude and willingness to support both kitchen and classroom needs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state requirements
- Available to work Monday - Friday 7am-4pm
