This is an alternating shift position. The selected candidate must be available to work both opening and closing shifts on a rotating basis. Flexibility with scheduling is essential. Must be available to work between hours of 6:00 am-6:30 pm.
- Provide classroom coverage and support teachers with daily routines, activities, transitions, and classroom management.
- Maintain appropriate ratios and active supervision while providing nurturing, age-appropriate care.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting, nap time, staff breaks, and classroom needs as directed.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and safe classrooms.
- Assist with classroom preparation, materials, and supplies.
- Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and childcare licensing requirements.
- Adapt to different age groups and classroom needs while building positive relationships with children.
- Support the Director and Assistant Director with daily school operations, staffing, classroom coverage, and staff breaks.
- Help maintain appropriate ratios and communicate staffing, classroom, safety, and operational concerns to leadership.
- Greet families, answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide professional customer service.
- Assist with enrollment inquiries, tours, registration, and family communication.
- Maintain records, classroom documentation, and administrative paperwork while protecting confidentiality.
- Help ensure the school is clean, organized, and prepared for daily operations.
- Assist with supplies, events, special activities, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Opening the school and preparing classrooms, common areas, and administrative spaces for the day.
- Supporting morning arrival procedures and ensuring children are welcomed safely.
- Completing end-of-day classroom and facility checks.
- Ensuring classrooms and common areas are clean, organized, and prepared for the following day.
- Assist with school bus drop-off and pick-up procedures as needed.
- Follow all transportation safety protocols and ensure children are supervised during transitions.
- Support arrival and dismissal procedures.
- Provide support during special events, staff meetings, and school activities.
- Be willing to step in wherever needed to ensure the school operates smoothly.
- Must have experience in a preschool, childcare, education, and administrative environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, adaptable, and willing to take initiative.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced preschool environment.
- Professional, positive, and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, children, and families.
- Comfortable working independently and following established policies and procedures.
- Must be flexible and available for rotating opening and closing shifts.
