Love working with infants? We're looking for a warm, patient, and caring Assistant Infant Teacher to join our infant room team. You'll work alongside an experienced Lead Teacher supporting the care and development of infants from 6 weeks to 12 months in a nurturing, professional environment.
Assistant Infant Teacher Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in delivering developmentally appropriate activities for infants
- Support each infant's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through responsive caregiving
- Handle daily infant care routines — feeding, diapering, nap routines, and crib transfers
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment
- Communicate daily with parents about their infant's feeding, sleeping, milestones, and activities
- Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing guidelines specific to infant care

Are You a Fit?
- High school diploma required; ECE coursework or degree a plus
- Experience with infants or young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred
- Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for babies and their families
- Comfortable with all infant care tasks including crib transfers and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborative team player who works well independently
- Availability for 9:00am-6:00pm preferred
