What You'll Do
As a Lead Teacher, you will:
- Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Plan and lead fun, developmentally appropriate activities using our Wonder of Learning® curriculum
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Encourage children's curiosity, independence, creativity, and confidence
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive classroom management
- Communicate with families about their child's day, development, and accomplishments
- Observe children's interests and use them to create meaningful learning experiences
- Work closely with Assistant Teachers, Resource Teachers, and school leadership
- Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, and supervision
- Participate in training, staff meetings, and professional development
What We're Looking For
- A genuine love for children and early childhood education

- Dependable, organized, and professional
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- 1–2 years of childcare or preschool experience preferred
- Ability to meet Georgia Bright from the Start requirements and successfully complete required background checks
- Ability to actively engage with young children throughout the day, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
