- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that build early literacy, numeracy, and school readiness skills
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development during this critical pre-kindergarten stage
- Help guide children through the social dynamics of preschool — sharing, cooperation, conflict resolution, and building friendships
- Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
- Supervise and provide individualized attention and support to children in your care
- Assist in communicating with families about their child's progress, milestones, and daily activities
- Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing guidelines
- Support routine classroom tasks to promote a nurturing and structured learning environment

- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Genuine warmth, patience, and empathy for preschool-age children and their families
- Works productively without supervision and collaborates effectively with classroom team members
- Basic understanding of child development and school readiness milestones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
