About the Role:
The Goddard School of Katy (Cinco Ranch) is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join their dedicated early childhood education team in Katy, TX. Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding schedules, diaper changes, nap times, and developmental observations
- Communicate openly and consistently with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily progress and milestones
- Ensure classroom cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with lead teachers and school administration to support curriculum goals and classroom objectives
- Build trusting, responsive relationships with infants to foster secure attachment and emotional well-being
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred
- Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early education setting preferred
- Strong understanding of infant developmental milestones and best practices in infant care
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare licensing requirements
- Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood education
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with families and team members
