- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons and activities for young children
- Introduce Spanish vocabulary, phrases, songs, stories, games, and cultural experiences in a fun and interactive way
- Create a positive and encouraging environment that builds children's confidence and interest in learning Spanish
- Adapt lessons and activities to meet the developmental needs and interests of individual children
- Collaborate with Lead and Assistant Teachers to integrate Spanish into the classroom curriculum and daily routines
- Encourage children to participate through music, movement, conversation, storytelling, and hands-on activities
- Supervise children indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and valued
- Communicate with teachers and families about children's participation and progress
- Organize and maintain engaging Spanish-language classroom materials and resources
- Maintain clean and inviting learning spaces while adhering to health and safety standards
- Support routine childcare tasks and contribute to a nurturing, high-quality learning environment

- High school diploma required
- Fluency in Spanish required; native or near-native proficiency preferred
- Previous experience teaching Spanish or working with young children preferred
- Passion for early childhood education and language development
- Shows empathy, patience, and compassion for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, children, and families
- Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
