A day in the life as a Administrator:
  • Build lasting relationships with both students and parents, celebrating every little milestone!  Daily communication with parents at drop-off and pick-up.
  • Work in a clean, modern facility with multiple buildings on our campus, 4 playgrounds, a gym, stage, an outdoor classroom, kitchen, and large faculty office.  
  • Enjoy a team environment where you’re supported by dedicated directors and fellow teachers.
  • Engage with the school community in events like our Fall Festival, Carnivals, Summer Picnic, Parents' Night Out, and more.
  • Interact with other childcare professionals and continue to grow in your profession. 
What an Office Assistant Does:  
  • Assist multiple Directors and an Owner in operating the school
  • Manage compliance with Goddard Quality Assurance standards and Ohio licensing requirements
  • Maintain system for accurate child and teacher files
  • Ability to run the school office, answer phones, handle parent and teacher inquiries with confidence, close the school, order supplies, and child snacks.
  • Substitute for absent teachers in classrooms when needed
  • Drive a 14-passenger school bus when needed, (special driver’s licensing is NOT required)
  • Perform mock QAs and emergency drills
  • Manage teacher training completions
  • Assist with school special projects
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience is a plus, but we value passion and dedication just as much! If you’re enthusiastic about working with children, we’d love to hear from you 
  • A high school diploma (and if you have early childhood experience, that’s a bonus!)
  • Someone who’s dependable, positive, and works well in a team and without a lot of supervision. A Self-Starter!
  • Proficient with office technology, MS Office apps, social media, Chat GPT, mobile apps
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding ability to listen and follow-up on issues constructively.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.  For Infant Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
