The Goddard School® located at 50 Seaboldt Way, Chester Springs, PA 19425 is looking for a warm, dependable, and nurturing Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team!

Our infant teachers do so much more than provide care. They build relationships, comfort little ones, celebrate first milestones, and create a calm, engaging environment where babies can explore and grow. You’ll work alongside two experienced Lead Teachers and a supportive team that values the important work you do every day.

What You'll Do:

As an Assistant Infant Teacher, you will:

  • Help provide a loving, responsive, and nurturing environment for infants

  • Build strong bonds with each child and respond to their individual needs and cues

  • Assist with feeding, diapering, bottles, naps, and daily care routines

  • Engage babies through talking, singing, reading, sensory experiences, and age-appropriate activities

  • Support infants as they develop early social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills

  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom

  • Communicate with families about their child's day, routines, and milestones

  • Work closely with the Lead Teacher to provide consistent care and supervision

  • Follow health, safety, and state licensing requirements

A high school diploma is required. An associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Previous 2 year minimum experience working with infants or young children is required, but we're willing to train the right person who has a genuine passion for working with children.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children and meet all required state background check, education, experience, and credential requirements.
