What You'll Do
- Create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Wonder of Learning Curriculum.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
- Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development through hands-on exploration and play.
- Observe and document children's growth and developmental milestones.
- Build positive relationships and maintain open communication with families and fellow educators.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement innovative teaching practices and classroom experiences.
- Maintain all health, safety, and state licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- A passion for early childhood education and child-led learning.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a supportive team environment.
- Must successfully complete all required background checks and meet applicable state licensing requirements.
