School Age Teacher (Part-Time)

The Goddard School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic School Age Teacher to join our team! If you enjoy working with children and creating engaging experiences for school-age students, we would love to meet you.

Position Details

Schedule:

Monday-Friday
7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Additional hours available on MCPS days off, early dismissal days, and school breaks

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children ages 5-12 years.
Plan and lead engaging recreational, educational, and enrichment activities.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
Communicate effectively with families and team members.
Maintain classroom organization and follow all licensing and school policies.

Qualifications

Experience working with school-age children (ages 5-12).
Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must meet all state licensing and background check requirements.

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
