Director Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Administration: Lead daily operations while upholding brand, regulatory and policy standards.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, supervise and support staff to build a positive, collaborative team.
- Curriculum and Program Development: Deliver our proprietary Wonder of Learning® program*, designed to spark curiosity, support individual growth and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
- Family and Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with families and promote the school in the community.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe, clean and prepared environment for children, staff and visitors.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet at least one of the California Title 22 Child Care Center Director qualification pathways under Section 101215.1 and the additional infant-care requirements under Section 101415.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related educational field.
- At least three years of early childhood education teaching experience.
- At least one year of experience in a school leadership or management position.
- Experience managing a large preschool or childcare center.
- Experience with infant, toddler and preschool programs.
- Strong knowledge of California Title 22 licensing regulations.
- Experience with enrollment management, parent relations, staff development, and budget management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and commitment to exceptional family experiences.
