Office Administrator – The Goddard School, Southwest Las Vegas

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our early childhood education center. This role is key to ensuring smooth administrative processes, maintaining licensing compliance, and supporting staff, families, and children in a warm and professional environment. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Oversee daily administrative tasks, ensure compliance with state licensing, and manage records for staff and families.

  • Communication: Lead internal and external communications, including newsletters, monthly themes, and social media updates.

  • Enrollment & Revenue Growth: Support enrollment efforts, manage family onboarding, and assist in implementing new programs (e.g., summer camps, after-school care).

  • Family & Staff Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, licensing authorities, and community partners.

  • Supplies & Facility Oversight: Order food and classroom supplies weekly; maintain and update handbooks and emergency procedures.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and compliant records for children, staff, and facility operations.

  • Additional support as deemed needed by management.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.

  • Prior experience in preschool or school administration.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform a variety of physical tasks, including:

  • Frequently walking, standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and rising from the floor

  • Regularly speaking, reading, writing, and listening in English

  • Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds

  • Using fine hand movements, and occasionally pushing, pulling, or bending
